This. This is so true.
Somehow, friends encouraging that something could happen, a spark could fly, makes me feel all the worse. Like I’m completely alone. And nothing can change that.
I want to be hers, and everything she’s ever dreamed of.
While I have this tiny, irrational bit of hope that it could happen, the rest of me is saying that I’m not pretty enough, kind enough, or even just that it could never happen.
And it hurts.
It hurts.
And yet, when they tell you it’s hopeless and you should move on, you never really do manage to move on.
And it just ends up hurting too.
